WHEN Truly Beautiful bridal shop opened, Laura Watts was fulfilling a life-long dream to own and run a small business in the heart of Guisborough. One year on, the shop on picturesque Chaloner Street has a steady stream of customers, as well as a growing reputation in the local community and far beyond.

“Fashion has always been a passion and the shop has allowed me to do something that I really love,” says 29-yearold Laura. “We contributed to several fashion shows and wedding fairs last year to promote the bridal wear, evening and prom dresses and we have many more planned for this year. The shop has a wide selection of dresses and we believe we have something to suit everyone.

“Choosing the perfect dress for your wedding can be a daunting task and we want our customers to thoroughly enjoy the experience and to look and feel truly beautiful, so we always give an honest opinion.”

The shop has a large range of bridal gowns by leading designers including Justin Alexander, Constantina, Benjamin Roberts, Raul Novios, Amanda Wyatt, White Rose and Ellis Bridal. Many of the gowns are exclusive and Truly Beautiful also offers a bespoke service if you want something unique. There are also stylish bridesmaid dresses from the award-winning Jim Hjelm Occasions and the sought-after Lazaro collections and a full range of accessories.

“I always try to choose gowns that are a little bit different and many of our customers have commended us on the choice we offer,” says Laura.
