IF chocolate is your idea of Christmas present heaven, Darlington chocolate experts Robineau have it all wrapped up. You can now order all your favourite flavours from their new website – robineau.co.uk – and have them delivered anywhere in the UK.

Try the Robineau hand-made chocolate selection - a mouth-watering balance of tastes and textures which include luscious ganaches made with fruit purees, organic teas, fresh mint, Arabica coffee and crispy pralines.

Or try the Tutti Frutti selection, with delicious fruity flavours which are made using the very best fruit purees, not flavourings. There’s an explosion of passion fruit in their creamy milk chocolate passion fruit ganache, followed by a selection of blackcurrant, lemon, cherry, pear, kiwi and raspberry ganaches.

In addition to their milk and dark chocolates, they also use a variety of chocolates from Madagascar, Java, Africa and Papua New Guinea.

At Christmas, the Darlington patisserie make so much more than chocolates. The team constructs fantastic decorated gingerbread houses, mince pies made with their own mincemeat, hampers and festive biscuits.

Robineau also has a list of mouth-watering seasonal desserts which you can pre-order, including a delicious berry trifle and an exotic cheesecake.

They have also created a new chocolate gateau, layered with milk chocolate mousse and a crunchy layer of praline and gingerbread biscuit. And even the health conscious are catered for with fresh fruit tarts.

Jane and Frederic Robineau are well-known cake designers, confectioners and chocolatiers and have been running their patisserie in West Auckland Road, Cockerton, for more than two years.
