LATIMER HINKS, the Darlington-based law firm, is confident it has raised thousands of pounds at its annual ball for a number of good causes, including its main charity for this year, Help For Heroes.

As well as helping the charity for injured servicemen and women, the firm is also supporting St Teresa’s Hospice and a number of smaller local charities.

Clients, professional contacts and friends of Latimer Hinks attended its black-tie event at Wynyard Hall. A four-course meal was followed by a charity auction, tombola, raffle and dancing, with music from the party band Huge.

Anne Elliott, partner at Latimer Hinks, said: “We were thrilled by the support we have received. The event was a sell-out.”
