MORE than 60 people were in attendance as Richmond Rugby Club celebrated the achievements of the year with a dinner-dance at the Holly Hill Inn, Richmond.

The annual event was the biggest for several years as awards were handed out to recognise the efforts of players over the season. Guests enjoyed a three-course meal followed by a disco, organised by rugby club bar manager Bev Cox.

The evening followed a fundraising day held several weeks ago at the rugby club, which saw £450 raised for the Richmond and Hambleton MS Society.
